These 100mL PYREX conical centrifuge tubes have white graduations and are used in accordance with standard methods of testing for water and sediment in petroleum products. Tubes are calibrated "to contain". They are graduated upward from 0 to 0.5mL in 0.05mL intervals; from 0.5 to 2.0mL in 0.10 intervals; from 2.0 to 3.0mL in 0.20 intervals; from 3.0 to 5.0mL in 0.50 intervals; from 5.0 to 10.0mL in 1.0 intervals; from 10.0 to 25.0mL in 5.0 intervals; from 25.0 to 100.0mL in 25.0 intervals. These 100mL PYREX庐 pear-shaped centrifuge tubes are used for determination of water and sediment in petroleum products. They are fabricated from mold-blown blanks to insure uniform shape and greater mechanical strength. The scale and figures are durable white enamel which stand out clearly against the red color-band on these Lifetime Red tubes. The stem is graduated from 0 to 1.5mL in 0.1mL divisions. In order to conform to outside diameter and overall length limitations imposed by centrifuge rotors and supports, it has been necessary to reduce the capacity of these heavy duty tubes.
